Last fall, I mentioned how impressed we were with the Carolina Renaissance Festival. If you are within a day's drive to the north Charlotte area, I definitely recommend a visit.
This year, we were introduced to the Festival's Student Education Days. The festival is open on select weekdays for field trips. Student Education Days translate into half the crowd for half the price of admission. Definitely worthwhile.
It was an appropriate field trip for us this year as we are immersed in all things Middle Ages.
